Quick Yumble Review:
Today we are going to be looking at a kids meal service called Yumble. As this is a meal delivery service that has been designed to cater to the needs of children, to ensure our testing process was as thorough as it is normally, we had to recruit some children to our team! Yumble was tested personally by our editor-in-chief who has two young kids.
The two of them experienced all that Yumble has to offer and reported back so we could complete this Yumble review.

The Yumble delivery
One of the things that Lee Levy loved about her Yumble kids delivery was that everything was so beautifully organized inside the box. All meals come in a separate tray that had a branded sleeve that included the name of the meal, all nutritional information, and heating instructions. Yumble is very focused on being an environmentally-friendly company, and all its packaging material is fully recyclable. The Yumble box and meal sleeves are made from 100% recycled paper fibers, and the meal trays are from PP#5 plastic. All items within your Yumble box, including the box, can be placed in your curbside recycling.
Managing your Yumble account
Yumble makes everything easy. Their website is colorful and easy-to-use, which is great if you want to get the kids involved in ordering their meals. The website has all the information you need about meals, the weekly menu, company information, and pricing information. The whole process is very straight-forward. To set up your account you simply choose your plan and then select your meals. You will be required to complete your personal and payment details and are then approved on-screen immediately.
You also have the option to input more information about your kids and their dietary preferences which helps Yumble recommend the most suitable meals if you ever forget to choose the meals for the following week or would like to know what Yumble recommends.
Lastly, Yumble makes canceling your account super easy by allowing you to do this online.
The Yumble ingredients
Yumble makes a promise that all their ingredients will be seasonal, fresh, natural, nutritious and organic whenever possible. Their proteins are humanely raised and antibiotic and hormone-free whenever possible. This promise means that you will only ever receive quality ingredients in your Yumble meals. The Yumble team is vigilant when it comes to allergy, and dietary restrictions and all meals are clearly marked for allergens. This includes gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, etc.
We must note though that the Yumble meals are not prepared in kitchens that are certified gluten-free, lactose-free or egg-free. Therefore they cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur. If your child has a life-threatening allergy, we do not recommend the Yumble meals.
The Yumble delivery areas
Yumble is relatively new to the meal delivery arena, and they are constantly working on expanding the areas where they deliver. Currently, they deliver to most of the East Coast and parts of the Midwest. To check if you can receive a Yumble delivery, please enter your email address and zip code onto their website. That way if they do not currently deliver to your address, they can advise you once the service becomes available. Yumble uses FedEx for their deliveries which are delivered between 8am and 8pm though you are not required to be home for deliveries.
