Sun Basket is known for being an all-organic company, and after trying their meals, it is obvious that their menu is all about fresh, healthy eating. Sun Basket’s meals are not complicated, and they are filled with incredible healthy, organic ingredients.  The Sun Basket menu also includes lunch, breakfast, snack and juice options along with the option to order deliveries of protein such as meat and seafood.

In order to fulfil their 15-minute promise, Gobble delivers quality fresh ingredients that are portioned and fully prepared, allowing for quick and easy preparation. Their menu tends to be filled with classic recipes and asian style meals, that are all super easy to prepare.

Sun Basket and Gobble Quality of ingredients

Both companies use quality ingredients that are healthy, fresh and delicious.

Sun Basket is a company that uses all-organic ingredients that are sustainably sourced, and they are ideal for those who are wanting a healthy, organic weekly menu.

Gobble is also proud of where they source their ingredients, and they use a reliable network of suppliers. Gobble delivers many of its ingredients already partially cooked, and vacuum packed. This ensures the quality of the ingredients while also delivering on their fast cooking promise.

Gobble and Sun Basket box

Both Sun Basket and Gobble deliver well-organized and beautifully packed deliveries. All ingredients are labeled and packaged, which means no sorting is required when unpacking. The delivery contains enough ice to maintain the correct temperature of ingredients, so everything arrives in perfect condition.

When it comes to caring for the environment, both Sun Basket and Gobble are doing their best to reduce their impact on the environment.  Sun Basket uses a food delivery box complete with paper insulation that is fully recyclable and can be placed in your curbside recycling bin.  They also include high-heat zone insulation that is made of 100% reclaimed denim and recyclable low-density polyethene. To recycle, you cut open the plastic bag and you can either recycle the denim or place it in your regular bin where it will biodegrade. The liner can be recycled with anyone who accepts store drop-off bags. The ice packs are made of a gel and cotton filling inside a #4 recyclable polyethylene liner. To recycle cut open the plastic bag and drain the gel into your trash or compost bin. The gel pack liner, individual plastic bags, plastic containers and jar lids can all be taken to your nearest recycling centre.

Gobble is always making an effort to improve their packaging. Their delivery box can be placed in your curbside recycling bin, and the insulated liner is recyclable though it is best to check first where it can be recycled. The gel ice packs are non-toxic and can be cut open and emptied into the trash. The outer plastic is recyclable, or alternatively, you can keep them in the freezer and reuse them. Any plastic bags can be dropped off at a participating retailer or your local recycling center.
