The Hello Fresh box interior:
There are two different components to the Hello Fresh box interior. You will find a honeycomb paperboard with a pulper-safe metalized film which is fully recyclable. Depending on the weather and your contents you might also receive different types of liners.
The Winter FlexFoil liner which is metallic plastic needs to be placed straight in the trash. If you receive a Winter Kraft Paperlite liner, this can be included with your curbside recyclables. If you receive a Summer Jute and Cotton liner, you will need to cut the top off the plastic film then remove the cotton interior which will need to be placed in the trash. The plastic film is recyclable.

Hello Fresh box recycling:
The Hello Fresh delivery box is made using durable cardboard which is composed of recycled and virgin fibers and is fully recyclable. It is just a matter of folding the box flat and discarding it with any other household recyclables.
Hello Fresh box contents recycling:
Each Hello Fresh delivery includes at least one ice-gel pack, depending on your order. These can be reused and kept in your freezer. Alternatively, if you want to throw them away, cut a corner off the top of each pack and empty the gel in the trash. You can then recycle the plastic pack.
Each meal kit comes with ingredients sorted in paper bags and meal kit separators.
The paper bags are both recyclable and compostable. The cardboard separators are completely recyclable and can be included with your curbside recycling.
